For his very first ceramic mosaic mural in the roof garden, Gerard has incorporated ancient Chinese coins and ceramic and porcelain pieces to depict traditional Eastern symbols, such as magical shields, serpent and fish forms, Trident and bell shapes, together with the eight auspicious signs of good fortune to symbolize the structure of the universe. |
